Alerid tablet from Cipla is an antihistamine used to treat adults and children (aged 2 years and above) for symptoms of hay fever (seasonal allergic rhinitis), round the year dust, or pet allergies (perennial allergic rhinitis) , and swelling, reddness and itchiness of skin (urticaria). It helps soothe allergy symptoms such as blocked/runny/itchy nose, red/watery eyes, and skin rashes. It is also prescribed in conjunctivitis, eczema and reactions to insect bites and stings. It is prescription drug and must be sold only with prescription of a Registered Medical Practitioner only.
