- Bayer Advocate Spot On is not suitable for animals other than cats.
- It is an insecticide-acaricide and is HAZARDOUS TO HUMANS. Do not inhale or drink during application.
- Call your physician immediately if you or a member of your family accidentally ingests ADVOCATE.
- ADVOCATE may cause irritation of mucous membranes, skin and eyes and contact with these should be avoided. Wash and rinse carefully with clean water in case of accidental exposure.
- DO NOT TOUCH CONTENTS WITH FINGERS. Wash immediately with soap and water on contact.
- Do not handle treated dogs. Keep children away from treated dogs until the application site is completely dry.
- Self-medication may result in serious complications and side effects and could even be lethal for your pet. Always consult your veterinarian before starting medication.
- It is highly recommended that dogs be treated in the early evening and not during the day. Also, recently treated dogs should not be allowed to sleep with owners, especially children.
- Dogs or those who have known hypersensitivity to insecticides or alcohol should avoid contact with the drug.
- CAUTION FOR DISPOSAL: Do not discard the product or empty pipettes in ponds, rivers and streams. Securely wrap pipette in several layers of newspaper and discard in trash.

Hold the pipette in an upright position, and twist gently to pull off the cap. Reverse the cap and then twist and remove the seal from the pipette. Part the coat on the animal‘s neck at the base of the skull until the skin is visible. Place the tip of the pipette on the skin and press the pipette firmly several times to empty its contents directly onto the skin. Application at the bottom of the skull will minimise the opportunity for the cat to lick the spot-on. Apply only to undamaged skin.
