Kefuroxime Vet from Vetina is a second-generation beta-lactam, an antibiotic effective against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria prescribed in dogs and cats for a variety of bacterial infections, internal and external.

MECHANISM OF ACTION
Cefuroxime axetil is the active ingredient of Kefuroxime Vet. It is a 2nd generation cephalosporin and works by binding to penicillin-binding proteins (PSBs) to inhibit the last step of the bacterial cell wall synthesis.
- Kefuroxime Vet must not be used in dogs/puppies with known history or susceptibility for hypersensitivity to cephalosporins.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
- Administration to pregnant and lactating bitches and queens should be per consideration by the vet.
- For animal treatment only. For oral use in dogs and cats only.
5-10 mg/kg body weight.
Reported side effects for Kefuroxime Vet include vomiting and diarrhoea or other GI signs.
