Otirel ear drops from Zydus provide fast relief from ear infections in dogs and cats. It fights against bacteria and fungi and contains topical steroid which acts an anti-inflammatory. Otirel also reduces pain sensation and irritation around the application area.

MECHANISM OF ACTION
Otirel contains clotrimazole as one of its components which is an antifungal. It inhibits fungal growth by inhibiting functioning of membrane bound enzymes.
Ofloxacin in Otirel is a synthetic fluoroquinolone. It inhibits the supercoiling activity of bacterial DNA gyrase, halting DNA replication of bacteria.
Betameathasone is also one of the major components and is a topical steroid. It reduces/inhibits the inflammation, redness and swelling.
Otirel also contans lignocaine HCl, a local anesthetic agent which reduces the pain sensation/irritation.

This product is very effective and good for my dog My dog used to bleed from her ears and had an ear infection. After using this product, she was able to easily clean her ears and get rid of her ear infection.
