- RIDD is an insecticide-acaricide and is HAZARDOUS TO HUMANS. Do not inhale or drink during application.
- Call your physician immediately if you or a member of your family accidentally ingests RIDD solution.
- RIDD solution may cause irritation of mucous membranes, skin and eyes and contact with these should be avoided. Wash and rinse carefully with clean water in case of accidental exposure.
- DO NOT TOUCH CONTENTS WITH FINGERS. Wash immediately with soap and water on contact. Keep the bottle tightly closed in storage.
- Do not handle treated animals. Keep children away from treated animals until the application site is completely dry.
- Self-medication may result in serious complications and side effects and could even be lethal for your pet. Always consult your veterinarian before starting medication.
- It is highly recommended that animals be treated in the early evening and not during the day. Also, recently treated animals should not be allowed to sleep with owners, especially children.
- Dogs or those who have known hypersensitivity to insecticides should avoid contact with the drug.
- CAUTION FOR DISPOSAL: Do not discard the product or empty pipettes in ponds, rivers and streams. Securely wrap pipette in several layers of newspaper and discard in trash.
Dosage
Treatment and control requires one application per week. For sarcoptic mange, 2-3 applications are mandatory while for demodectic mange, 5-8 applications may be required. Dilution for application is a must. For ticks and fleas, 2 ml per litre of water should be diluted and for mange, 3-4 ml should be mixed per litre of water.
