KIWOF is a veterinary specific dewormer specifically for cats. It has been continually prescribed for its best results for over 20 years. With comprehensive spectrum of activity against all worms, it is safe, gentle and effective. Only single dose is enough for obtaining results. It can be directly administered or disguised in food and requires no starvation before or after treatment. It eliminates the need for using multiple products and can be used in combination with other treatments and vaccinations. With accurate dosage and minimum wastage, regular use over a year in all variants prevents relapse or recurrence.

USES OF KIWOF

Recommended for treatment of roundworms, hookworms and tapeworms in cats.

  • Roundworms: Toxocara cati, Toxascaris leonina
  • Hookwoms: Ancylostoma tubaeforme, Ancylostoma brazilense, Uncinaria stenocephala
  • Tapeworms: Dipylidium caninum, Taenia taeniaeformis

Recommended treatments: Kittens: Treat at 6,8,10 and 12 weeks and then a monthly until 6 months of age, after that every 3 months or on veterinary advice. Lactating queens: Should be treated concurrently with kittens. Adults: Treat every 3 months or on veterinary advice.

Working Mechanism

Praziquantel works by causing severe spasms and paralysis of the worms' muscles. This paralysis is accompanied, and probably caused, by a rapid Ca 2+ influx inside the schistosome. Pyrantel, on the other hand, belongs to a class of drugs known as anthelmintics. It works by making the worms unable to move (paralyzed) so that the body can remove them naturally in the stool.

  1. Vivek Prajapati

It is an excellent deworming treatment for cat. I gave this to my cat because she has worms in her stomach. Within an hour, the worms were dead in her poop.
