VisioPet VetCaps is a unique product from VetCare+ whose active ingredients support the proper functioning of the eye. Each VisioPet VetCaps capsule contains 14 antioxidants which support the blood supply to the optic nerve, help improve microcirculation in the eyeballs, strengthens the capillaries in the eyes and exhibit antioxidant effects. It is a complementary eye support complex especially useful in geriatric animals, working and sporting dogs and patients of post-ophthalmic operation.

MECHANISM OF ACTION
Antioxidants are a group of compounds that prevents oxidation in the body and have the ability to neutralize free radicals that are formed as a result of this chemical reaction. Reactive oxygen species (free radicals) damage proteins, DNA, unsaturated fatty acids that are part of cell membranes, polysaccharides and blood lipids. Weakening or collapse of the antioxidant barrier in cells accelerates the aging process of the body. When a free radical molecule contacts an antioxidant molecule, it receives the missing electron from it and is neutralized. Therefore, regular availability of antioxidants in the daily diet of animals is very important to limit the adverse effects of reactive oxygen species on their body.

Akira has cancer and has been on painkillers ever since. Unfortunately, these attack the liver or stress it excessively. She is also very picky and had refused various medications. I can add Hepatoforce to the feed without any problems. It works well, and my veterinarian is also satisfied with the blood values (logically, the usual signs of cancer remain).
